Supported clients

You can consume the reporting API via any platform that supports OData. We recommend either Power BI or Excel, because they support OData data sources well.

Tableau supports OData, but may complicate report creation. HammerTech does not provide support for Tableau-specific limitations or issues.

Dataset size and performance

Items in the dataset may be quite large (for example, many records, or large file sizes). Therefore we recommend that you use a high-performance PC, with a high speed internet connection, for report development.
